The popular "SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT" series of candy toys from Bandai Candy, the candy toy division of Japanese toy company Bandai , has announced the release of the newest product , the "SRX Fullmetal Complete Edition Boxed Set," based on the game "Super Robot Wars OG ." This product is scheduled to release in February 2026. This product will be available exclusively at the official Bandai online store, Premium Bandai.
The "SRX Project" in the game is a humanoid mobile weapon development project commissioned by the Earth Federation Army's Far Eastern Branch's Izu Base to strengthen Earth's military defenses. The goal is to utilize EOT (Extraterrestrial Extraterrestrial Technology) to create a super-weapon capable of turning the tide of battle on its own. Representative units include the highly mobile "R-1" transformable fighter, the heavily armored artillery "R-2," the long-range sniper "R-3," and the specialized "R-GUN." Each of these four units possesses distinct capabilities, allowing them to operate independently, but their true potential is realized when combined into the Super Robot "SRX" (Super Robot X-Type). This powerful weapon possesses exceptional combat capabilities, harnessing the pilot's telekinesis to unleash powerful weapons such as the "Tenjo Tenke Telekinetic Explosive Sword" and the "Tenjo Tenke One-Hit Kill Cannon."
The SMP "SRX Fullmetal Complete Edition Boxed Set" will include previously released products such as the "R-1 & R-GUN", "R-2 Enhanced Type & R-3 Enhanced Type", "Invincible Expansion Parts Set", "Original Body Logo Stickers", and "R-1 Re-Function Replacement Parts", giving players who missed out on the opportunity to own them again.
All four suits feature the stylish design and extensive armaments of the game, along with flexible articulation. By combining gimmicks and replacing parts, you can recreate the approximately 36cm tall Super Robot "SRX," complete with the massive 75cm-long "Z-O Sword," and recreate the powerful "Tenjo Tenchi Psychic Explosion Sword" attack.
