From the film "GARO TAIGA," which celebrates the 20th anniversary of the series and depicts the battles of Saejima Kouga's father, Saejima Taiga, in his younger days, comes the "SHFiguarts (True Bone Carving Technique) Golden Knight Garo (Saejima Taiga)"! Pre-orders will begin at 4:00 PM on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the Tamashii Web Shop within Premium Bandai.
Taiga Saejima is recreated wearing the armor of the Golden Knight Garo, using the unique skeletal structure of the True Bone Carving technique. The suit actually used in filming was thoroughly analyzed, and not only is the shape of the armor faithfully recreated, but the detailed engravings, molded surface decorations, and even the underside details are all faithfully recreated.
The golden armor, passed down through generations to those who bear the title of "Golden Knight Garo," is recreated with a dazzling, lustrous gold plating. Taiga Saejima's signature crimson eyes, characteristic of his armor, are realistically recreated with delicate paintwork. The carved grooves on the armor's surface are precisely adjusted to create beautiful shadows when plated. The reflection of light enhances its presence even more. This suit boasts a realistic appearance, while offering a range of motion that allows for action scenes from the series. The shoulder armor rises, the double elbow joints, and the shoulder joints swing back and forth, allowing for natural poses with the Garo Sword held in both hands. The articulated collar armor allows for arm-raising poses without restricting the shoulder range of motion. The hip joint design prevents interference between the armor pieces, allowing for thigh-raising movements and powerful leg-spread poses. The ankles are articulated back and forth and side to side, recreating Garo's characteristic high-pitched shape.
The Garo Sword, the sword that cuts away the dark self, features a meticulously printed blade pattern. The figure also includes the Garo Sword in its sheath. The sheath's chain is made of metal for a more realistic look. The figure can be held in place with the included interchangeable wrist parts, or the sword can be unsheathed by removing the grip. The figure also includes a luxurious sleeve, designed to resemble the "compass" that houses the souls of the four gods in "GARO TAIGA." The sleeve opens to reveal a backdrop featuring an illustration of the sacred beasts by Keita Amemiya, the creator of the "GARO" series. Displaying the figure alongside the figure allows you to recreate the climax of the series.
