From “Denkou Choujin Gridman” comes the action figure “SHFiguarts Gridman”! Pre-orders will begin at 16:00 on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Premium Bandai's Tamashii Web Shop.
We scanned the entire body of Hiroyuki Okano, a suit actor at the time, and created a model based on his body and skeleton to thoroughly recreate Gridman's proportions. In addition, the modeling was supervised by LSS, the modeling department of Tsuburaya Productions, and Takafumi Makibuchi, who was in charge of creating Gridman's suit at the time, resulting in an item that pursues a sense of authenticity with great attention to detail reproduction.
A wide range of motion is achieved by using soft parts for part of the torso. By installing pull-out gimmicks on the shoulders and hip joints, poses such as "grid beam" and "neo superconducting kick" can be reproduced as imagined in the movie. Furthermore, just like the actual suit, the leg and knee armor has a structure that is independent from the thigh, and can move in conjunction with the movement of the knee. Also included are "grid beam effect parts", "plasma blade", and "barrier shield". The "Barrier Shield" has a structure based on the prop in the movie. Furthermore, by replacing and deforming parts, and combining with the "Plasma Blade", it is possible to reproduce the state of "Thunder Ax" and "Gridman Sword".
