Following the main body of the "PG UNLEASHED 1/60 RX-78-2 Gundam", the Hobby Division of Japan’s BANDAI SPIRITS Company announced today (26) the expansion part for the kit "PG UNLEASHED RX-78-2 Gundam." It’s announced that "Transparent Armor" is expected to be released in March 2021. This product is only available for sale at Bandai's official online store PREMIUM BANDAI.

The frame design of "PG UNLEASHED RX-78-2 Gundam" adopts the "large embedded frame" structure, which greatly shortens the assembly time compared to the previous series of products. There are 94 movable shafts and 53 maintenance hatches all over the body. It also has a large number of high-density details, not only with delicate parts, but also with metal forming color parts, electroplating parts, metal processing truss... and other materials to show a rich texture, and high-density radiators are mounted on the legs structure. The head main and sub cameras, chest vents, backpack nozzles and even beam sabers are all equipped with LED lights.
This "PG UNLEASHED RX-78-2 Gundam Transparent Armor" can replace the original white, blue, red, and yellow outer armor and armed parts with a transparent version, which also includes the core fighter. With the transparent armor, you can appreciate the precise internal structure of PG UNLEASHED with a lot of details. When used with the LED light-emitting components, it can also get a different performance effect from the general version. The product also includes a set of water transfer stickers with the same design as "PG UNLEASHED RX-78-2 Gundam".
