To celebrate the start of the broadcast of "Ultraman Omega", the space armored beast "Vagsect (large)" that appears in the space battle scene depicted at the beginning of the first episode is now available as "Movie Monster Series x Ultra Kaiju DX Vagsect (large)"! Preorders are now being accepted on the Bandai Namco Group's official online store "Premium Bandai".
This product is a collaboration item between two soft vinyl series developed by Bandai, the "Movie Monster Series" and the "Ultra Kaiju DX". The "Vagsect (large)" that appears in the battle scene at the beginning of the episode has been recreated in a big size just like in the movie, with meticulous attention to detail and realistic coloring.
＜Point 1 - Modeling - feat. Movie Monster Series＞
The figure itself makes use of the production know-how gained from the "Movie Monster Series" to pursue detail and texture expression that matches the volume of the body. In addition to regular soft vinyl parts, injection molded parts are used to realistically reproduce the sharp antennae and fang-like protrusions. The color expression is also carefully crafted, and heavy paint gradations and blurred paint are used extensively to express a biological and organic appearance.
＜Point 2 -Big Size- feat. Ultra Kaiju DX＞
This product is made in accordance with the standards of the "Ultra Kaiju DX" series, and is overwhelmingly larger than regular Ultra Soft Vinyl ("Ultra Hero Series" and "Ultra Kaiju Series" *sold separately), measuring approximately 17.5 cm in height and 25.5 cm in length.
It has been sculpted in a large volume that is approximately 400% larger in height than the separately sold "Ultra Kaiju Series 232 Vagsect (currently on sale in stores)," which reproduces the smaller species, and expresses the power of the Vagsect (large) leading a swarm of smaller monsters in an attack.
By combining it with the separately sold "Ultra Action Figure Ultraman Omega Armor Change Set" or "Ultra Hero Series 107 Ultraman Omega," you can recreate battle scenes from the movie more realistically.
