Bandai's GASHAPON gashapon brand, known for its "Mobile Suit Ensemble" series of gashapon toys featuring shared connection points and unlimited costume changes, has announced a new addition to its " Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" series: "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE ~Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX~" . The new figure is scheduled for release in late July 2026. This product is exclusively available through the official online retailer, GASHAPON ONLINE.
The story of *Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX* is set in Universal Century 0085, after the Principality of Zeon won the One Year War. Its unique parallel universe setting quickly generated buzz after its premiere. The protagonist, Yuzuru Amante , is a high school girl living a peaceful daily life in a space colony. Feeling a sense of unreality, she one day encounters Nean , a war refugee girl, and Shuuji Itō , a mysterious boy piloting a red Gundam . She unexpectedly becomes the pilot of the mobile suit "GQuuuuuuX" and is drawn into the illegal MS dueling arena, "Battleband Duel." From then on, Yuzuru adopts the alias "Mach" and throws herself into fierce battles every day.
Of the five types of items available in this release, only the two main mobile suits featured throughout the series, GQuuuuuuX (when the Endymion Device is awakened) and Red Gundam , are included . GQuuuuuuX is a modified version of the standard model included in release 29, utilizing many newly designed parts to recreate the appearance of the Endymion Device unfolded in all four limbs and the head revealing its internal core. Red Gundam is a modified version of the white Gundam included in release 30, and comes with a Zeon-standard beam rifle and shield.
The other three categories each include a wide range of weapon accessories used by the two mobile suits. "MS Weapon Set A" includes the replacement head part for the GQuuuuuuX when the OMEGA brainwave conduction device is not activated; "MS Weapon Set B" includes the meteor hammer used by the Red Gundam; "MS Weapon Set C" includes two beam sabers for the Red Gundam and the transparent version of the beam saber for the GQuuuuuuX, as well as the Renosuke Heat Axe. The six unmanned attack aircraft carried by the Red Gundam are evenly distributed across the three sets.
