Bandai Toys, the popular tokusatsu and monster-themed soft vinyl toy series "MOVIE MONSTER" has announced that the latest product from the movie "Godzilla vs. Destroia," "Godzilla II," will be available for limited sale at the GODZILLA STORE on March 17, 2026.
Godzilla II first appeared in the 1993 film *Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla*. While of the same species as Godzilla, it is not related by blood. From egg to adulthood, Godzilla II was cared for by Flame Rodan, humans, and Godzilla. In *Godzilla vs. Destroia*, Godzilla II grew into a smaller version of Godzilla under Godzilla's care. Although it could emit heat rays, its combat abilities were not high. In the film, it was able to use its heat rays to fight back against the Destroia aggregate and flying forms, but when it encountered the more powerful Perfect Godzilla, it was powerless to resist and was captured and fell to its death after being lifted into the air.
"MOVIE MONSTER Godzilla II" is made to a height of approximately 13.5cm and a length of approximately 25.5cm. It uses soft vinyl material to reproduce the complex skin texture of the entire body, the mature head that is close to Godzilla, and the dorsal fin that is not yet fully developed. The gray-white color of the dorsal fin and the yellow belly that it has had since birth are reproduced through color painting.
