Bandai Toys, Inc. of Japan has announced that the latest product in its popular tokusatsu and monster-themed soft vinyl toy series, "MOVIE MONSTER: Jumping Godzilla (2004)," based on the movie "Godzilla: The Last Battle," will be released on January 31, 2026.
Godzilla , appearing in the series, is the strongest monster that emerged due to the destruction of Earth's environment and has repeatedly brought the world to the brink of extinction. Twenty years before the story began, it was frozen in Antarctica by the Gobten. It wasn't until the X-Aliens manipulated monsters to destroy the world that the Earth Defense Force's new Gobten awakened Godzilla to defeat monsters around the globe, calling it "Earth's strongest weapon." Its physique is even more robust and muscular, capable of agile movements such as saving a soccer ball, possessing excellent close-combat skills, and its heat-radiating rays are exceptionally powerful, capable of defeating almost any monster with just one shot.
The pose of "MOVIE MONSTER Jumping Godzilla (2004)" is based on the movie poster created by the late art master Noriyoshi Narayori, who based the Millennium Godzilla prototype created by monster sculptor Yuji Sakai, when the movie "Godzilla: The Last Battle" was released. However, the overall design is based on the costume of Godzilla (2004) in the movie, reproducing its vermilion eyes, fierce facial features and muscular body. The dorsal fins are painted in gray-white and metallic blue, reflecting the color scheme presented in the movie poster.
