BANDAI SPIRITS' HOBBY division has officially announced a new addition to their 1/100 scale Gundam assembly model kit, the "MG 1/100 Sirius Type Demon Hunter Gundam Expansion Parts Set," based on the anime series *Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans* . The set is scheduled for release in February 2026. This product will be exclusively available through the official BANDAI online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
The ASW-G-08 Sirius-type Demon Hunter Gundam is a new form of Demon Hunter Gundam revamped by Tekkadan after their fierce battles in Edmonton and Doomsday Horn. With technical support from Devas, it underwent significant internal and external modifications, employing multiple curved armor plates to reduce impact damage and reducing weight to improve mobility. Regarding the "Alaya-vijnana System," further analysis and adjustments were made based on past combat data to achieve a more seamless human-machine integration, resulting in improved overall performance. In addition to melee weapons such as a sword-shaped hammer-spear and a small hammer-spear, it can also be armed with 200mm cannons and rocket launchers on its arms.
