GUNDAM BASE, the official Gundam model flagship store of Japan's "Mobile Suit Gundam", announced that the latest event limited product from "Mobile Suit Gundam", "MG 1/100 Gofu Ver.2.0 [Transparent Color]" , will be on sale in all Gundam Base stores from July 26, 2025.
The MS-07B Guff is a mobile suit developed by the Principality of Zeon during the One Year War. After successfully landing on Earth, the Zeon army found that the performance of the main ground combat machine "Zak II J-type" was no longer sufficient to cope with the war situation, so they developed the "MS-07B Guff" specialized for close-range combat . The most famous pilot in the play is Ramba Ral, who has the title of "Blue Giant Star" . Although this machine inherits the characteristics of Zak in appearance, its body characteristics are basically different from Zak. Not only is the armor lightweight and the engine output increased, but it is also equipped with an auxiliary propulsion system in the legs to improve mobility. It can use the thermal saber, thermal whip, and the 5-mounted finger vulcan cannon hidden in the left palm for flexible close-range combat.
The "MG 1/100 Goof Ver.2.0 [Transparent Color]" is modified based on the general version kit released in 2009. The blue, dark blue, black, and orange outer armor parts of the entire machine are changed to transparent colors, and the internal frame uses a metallic gray molding color with metal particles. Not only can the precise shape of the internal frame be revealed, but it is also more convenient when performing special modification techniques such as lighting and luminous paint, presenting a style different from ordinary Gunpla.
