The MG (Master Grade) series of 1/100 scale Gundam assembly models, released by the Hobby Division of Bandai SPIRITS of Japan, boasts exceptional parts, a skeleton interior, and a wealth of movable mechanisms. A prototype of the new product, the "MG 1/100 Full Armor ZZ Gundam Ver. Ka," was exhibited for the first time at the All Japan Model Show held today . It is scheduled to be released in February 2026.
While the MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam is a mobile suit equipped with a variety of high-powered beam and live-fire weaponry, its structural strength is somewhat limited due to its transformation and fusion of three mobile suits. To counter the growing power of the Neo Zeon forces and the monstrous MA "NZ-000 Kun Mansa," Yuya first proposed a reinforcement plan to create the "Reinforced ZZ Gundam." Later, utilizing data from the test unit FAZZ, he developed the " Full Armor ZZ Gundam," comprehensively enhancing its defense, firepower, and mobility .
The MG 1/100 Full Armor ZZ Gundam Ver.Ka inherits the design of the previous "Reinforced ZZ Gundam Ver.Ka" and "FAZZ Ver.Ka," but adds removable armor parts, allowing for flexible switching between the "Full Armor ZZ Gundam" and "Reinforced ZZ Gundam" forms. The ultra-large "Super Mega Cannon," a weapon not seen in the anime , is also included. The parts design is essentially the same as the FAZZ version, allowing for powerful shooting poses.
