The "METAL ROBOT SPIRITS" series, published by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectible toy division of BANDAI SPIRITS of Japan, has officially announced that the latest product "Hi-ν Gundam -Exclusive Edition-" based on the novel "Mobile Suit Gundam Counterattack: Char's Children of Totega" is scheduled to be released in November 2025.
The RX-93-ν2 Hi-ν Gundam is Amuro Ray's custom mobile suit, appearing in the novel "Mobile Suit Gundam Counterattack: Char's Children of Totega." Its role in the series is equivalent to the RX-93 ν Gundam from the anime. Compared to the rushed ν Gundam, this model has undergone extensive maintenance and testing, resulting in superior performance. Its design features a blue and white design with a more robust silhouette. Its dorsal funnels are symmetrically mounted on wing-shaped thrusters and feature a recharge function. It can also utilize the "Super Mega Rocket Cannon," a massive, high-powered beam weapon powered by the battleship "Ra Cailum."
The METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Hi-ν Gundam -Exclusive Edition- is a revised version of the 2019 standard edition. The paint scheme is based on the original design by mechanical designer Hiroyuki Izubuchi from the novel , with updated colors and body logos. The shield's distinctive polka dot camouflage paint scheme and the backpack's tail are recreated. The original shield and tail parts are also included for your choice.
Standing approximately 14cm tall, the Hi-ν Gundam features refined, heavy armor, numerous thrust nozzles throughout, and other details, all rendered with precision. Key joints are crafted from a high-strength, weighty alloy. Accessories include various hand shapes, a beam rifle, a hyper bazooka, a beam saber, and beam blade effects. The backpack's six wing-shaped funnels and two fuel tanks are also removable, allowing for stylish combat poses when paired with the dedicated stand.
