The Gunpla "HG Gundam Barbatos Adapt" from the new short film "Intermission Misogi" celebrating the 10th anniversary of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" is now available! Pre-orders will begin on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 12:00 AM on Premium Bandai.
The mobile suit that leads to "Gundam Barbatos Lupus" has been recreated in 3D for the first time. The "Gundam Barbatos Adapt" was created by Tekkadan mechanics, who repaired the "Gundam Barbatos" damaged in the Battle of Edmonton as much as possible, and is recreated with new sculpting. The exterior is completely new, recreating the massive appearance seen in the film. The waist thruster unit is movable. Attachments on both ends are equipped with large and small swords provided by Teiwaz. The swords are recreated in 3D with new sculpting.
Updated parts have been used on some parts of the Gundam frame, giving it a greater range of motion. The aggressive poses seen in the series can be recreated even more boldly. Some of the polycap parts used in the joints have been converted to KPS parts, and each joint has been strengthened, allowing for more stable posing.
The packaging is an original illustration by chief mecha animator Hiroshi Arisawa. It features a new background and Gundam Barbatos Adapt, which was featured in the special edition "Urudr Hunt" and the new short film "Intermission" screening commemorative visuals.
