BANDAI SPIRITS releases "Gandarium alloy model 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam" as one of the culminations of the 40th anniversary of Gunpla! This Gunpla is made by refining the "Gandarium alloy" used in the Gundam armor materials and other parts of the "Mobile Suit Gundam" play on the planet according to the anime settings.
Reservations for the "Gandarium alloy model 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam" will begin accepting reservations on Premium Bandai from 12:00 on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. It will be on sale for a limited time and will be shipped sequentially from December 2020.

This product is one of the Gunpla 40th Anniversary Project "GUNPLA LINK PROJECT", a Gunpla released from "LINK THE FUTURE", which develops products that will be the culmination of the 40th anniversary. Following the anime settings for "Gandarium alloy," titanium, aluminum, and rare earth yttria are mixed and refined using the latest metal forming technology. It can be assembled by mounting this earth-made Gandarium alloy as armor on a plastic inner frame.
