BANDAI SPIRITS' HOBBY division has announced a new collaboration with Super Robot Wars VI: Skyfire: The ARQUEBUS CORPORATION VP-40S, part of their original 30 MINUTES MISSIONS series, featuring easy assembly and customizable design. The latest product is scheduled for release in June 2026.
MechWarriors VI: Skyfire is the latest installment in the MechWarriors series, developed by From Software, marking their return after a ten-year hiatus. The story takes place on the remote planet Rubicon 3, where humanity discovered a mysterious new substance called "Koror." Initially believed to be a new energy source and a catalyst for technological advancement, this discovery instead triggered a catastrophic event that engulfed the entire galaxy. Nearly a century later, the terrifying Koror has become a target for extraterrestrial corporations and resistance groups. Players will once again take on the role of Raven, a mercenary piloting a robot, infiltrating Rubicon and gradually delving into the heart of this storm of conflict.
The mobile suit being commercialized this time is the "VP-40S" series, the corporate standard mobile suit developed by the Aquagiber Group in the game. It belongs to the medium-sized bipedal walking mass-production specification. Apart from slightly higher EN and defense, it does not have any particularly outstanding performance. The various parts are a well-balanced and excellent model. The kit is made into an assembly model using the easy assembly and free modification features of the 30MM series. The high-density details of the armor surface are thoroughly reproduced with precision parts, and two parts molding colors of dark gray and light gray are used to express a heavy texture.
The head, core, wrists, and legs are all made using a common construction method, allowing for free customization just like in the game. The weapon included is the "VP-66LH Laser Pistol," which can be used with flexible joints to create various combat poses.
