The latest product in the '30 MINUTES FANTASY' series of original model kits, created by BANDAI SPIRITS' model kit brand BANDAI HOBBY and themed around a fantasy world , in collaboration with the anime 'Armor Knight', is "Blazing Armor". It will be officially released on March 21, 2026. The official website has also released the latest information on the product box art and complete product contents on the eve of the release.
The anime series *Armored Warriors*, which aired in 2026, is a direct sequel to the 1988 anime *Armored Warriors*. The story takes place 35 years after the events of the previous series. Following the successful defeat of the invading demon world by five warriors known as the "SAMURAI TROOPERS," the Japanese government established the DST (Demon Fighting Team) to strengthen defenses and train the next generation of "SAMURAI TROOPERS." Now in the modern era, the demon world has once again attacked humanity. The new generation of "SAMURAI TROOPERS," including Hojo Musashi, suffer repeated defeats due to their lack of combat experience. The protagonist, "Gai," who suddenly appears to help defeat the demon soldiers , is actually from the demon world and has a close relationship with the demon emperor, Roshinga.
The "30MF Scorching Armor" figure utilizes the articulated body design developed from the 30MF series to bring the protagonist of "Armored Warriors" —Scorching Armor— to life as an assembly model. The entire body features flexible articulation joints, allowing for highly dynamic combat poses. Furthermore, by changing parts, it can transform from "Under Gear" wearing a functional undershirt to "Yoroi Gear" in full armor, and includes hands and effect parts to recreate the Yoroi Gear summoning scene.
Kai's head uses molded parts color to recreate his red-streaked hair, and comes with two pre-printed face plates and one blank plate that can be used with water transfer stickers to create your own face. The two swords in the weapon accessories also use molded parts color to recreate the color separation of the silver blades and gold tsuba, etc. The swords can be stored in the scabbard, which has a locking mechanism to recreate the crossed-over look.
