To commemorate the centenary of the birth of Ray Harryhausen (creator of the stop motion), the company Star Ace presents the figure dedicated to Allosaurus and Tumak from the 1966 film entitled One Million Years B.C.

Ray Harryhausen was a special effects technician and American film producer. He was especially known for his style in stop motion animation technique. Some of his most notable works are The Great Gorilla in 1949 (with Willis O'Brien, a film that won an Oscar for the best visual effects), Simbad and the princess in 1958 (his first color film), Jason and the Argonauts in 1963 and Fury of the Titans in 1981.

One Million Years B.C. (in Spain, a million years ago) is a 1966 British film directed by Don Chaffey and belonging to the film genres of adventure and fantasy. She was a pioneer in the use of Stop Motion and one of the films considered the beginning of the fantasy genre and science fiction. In it Tumak (character played by John Richardson) belongs to a cave community, the Rock Tribe, and is expelled from it and sentenced to live in the desert after a brawl with his father, Akhoba, chief of the tribe. After surviving the attacks of a giant lizard, monkey-men, a brontosaurus and a giant spider, Tumak falls exhausted on a beach, and there Loana (character played by Raquel Welch) and his fishing companions of the Tribe of the Shell. When they are going to help him, a giant turtle appears like those of the Archelon genus, only three times as large as the real ones; Men from the Concha Tribe also arrive and harass the turtle with spears, which is headed for the water, as was their intention from the beginning.

The men and women of the Concha Tribe pick up Tumak and take him to the village. The culture of this tribe is more advanced: its members make cave paintings, music and shell jewelry, and part of their communication is carried out through the use of a rudimentary oral language.

Now the company Star Ace pays a well-deserved tribute to both Harryhausen and the movie in this figure that represents one of the most remembered stop motion scenes in the history of cinema. The figure has a great quality of details and at its base it has a small space where we can see the logo of the film.
