STATUE INFORMATION
MONDO, a well-known poster design and toy company, has released a 1/6 scale action figure of "Beast" from the sequel to the classic X-Men animated series "Ghost Powers," titled "X-Men '97." The figure is priced at $255 USD and is limited to 1500 sets. Pre-orders are scheduled to open exclusively on the MONDO website on February 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM Central Time.
Beast, whose real name is Henry Philip "Hank" McCoy, first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #1, released in September 1963. Due to his father's long-term exposure to radiation while working at a nuclear power plant, he was born with a body that was different from ordinary people. As an adult, he accidentally drank an unfinished drug while developing a drug and transformed into the blue-haired beast. He was later invited by Professor X to join the X-Men.
This 1/6 scale Beast action figure stands approximately 30.2 cm tall. The sculpt perfectly captures Hank's robust physique and furry appearance. The painted lines and skillful use of light and shadow effectively bring the character to life in 2D form. Accessories include five interchangeable head sculpts with different expressions, four sets of interchangeable hands, interchangeable arms for the lab coat and sleeves, glasses, a tongue depressor, a book that can be closed and opened, a tech backpack that can hold various tools, and a folded Howard Duck T-shirt, which Beast wears multiple times in the show. These accessories allow for flexible and expressive reenactments of various poses from the series!
