The "Osamu Tezuka Characters Sofvi Collection" is a series of soft vinyl figures supervised by Tezuka Productions that recreate scenes from the original manga in three dimensions. It allows you to enjoy the charm of the characters in three form, and past releases have included "Ambassador Atom" and "Phoenix: Tirol."
The distinctive and elegant curves drawn by Osamu Tezuka are reproduced using the soft vinyl production techniques cultivated at Ken Elephant's own workshop, "Nakazora Kobo," and the hand-painting by skilled craftsmen. The result is a finish that looks as if it has jumped right out of the manga. The aim of this series is to reveal alternative sides of famous characters that only those who have read the manga would know, and to encourage people to read the manga again.
This fifth installment features Pluto, Astro Boy's enemy from the manga "Astro Boy," and Astro Boy himself, the leader of the Mars exploration team in the "Mars Exploration" episode of the same series, both now available as soft vinyl figures! The intimidating presence of Pluto, who is considered one of the strongest characters in the series, is faithfully reproduced. On the other hand, "Astro Boy: Mars Exploration" is being made into a soft vinyl figure for the first time, and its hat is removable and its left arm is articulated.
Those who purchase this product from the Ken Elephant official online store or directly managed stores (VINYL, Ken Elebunshitsu, Ken Ele Stand, etc.) will receive one special acrylic keychain featuring a pickup scene (*1) as a bonus.
*1: The bonus acrylic keychain will feature a design corresponding to the character you purchased. The bonus will be available while supplies last. Details of the design will be announced later on the official social media accounts of "Nakazora Koubou".
The packaging is designed to resemble a comic book, with panels excerpted from Osamu Tezuka's works printed all over cardboard using opaque ink (white).
Furthermore, the title is foil-stamped (black foil), and fluorescent stickers (Lumino) are used for the sticker portion. The top surface features a blind-embossed image of "Hyotan-tsugi," a character familiar to Tezuka fans, resulting in a meticulously crafted package.

Introducing the "Hollow Workshop" brand.
This soft vinyl toy brand was born from Ken Elephant's mission to "make the world a more interesting place." Based in its own workshop in Sumida, Tokyo, the company cherishes manufacturing techniques passed down since the Showa era, and produces products by skilled craftsmen. Furthermore, it is working to strengthen its manufacturing system by creating an environment that supports new forms of expression at its overseas factories.
We view soft vinyl as an art piece, and while continuously exploring its possibilities, we are challenging ourselves to create new forms of expression in both technical and creative aspects.
