Hajime no Ippo

The Hajime no Ippo manga is a timeless classic from the manga world. In it, the author Jōji "George" Morikawa presents us with a unique overcoming story in which Ippo Makunouchi, the protagonist, overcomes all his obstacles, both physical and personal, to become a professional boxer. This 129-volume manga has captivated millions of readers for its history and its drawing, but above all for all the feelings that its author knows how to convey from the first page to the last.

Today the French company Kami-Arts, presents us the 1/6 scale figure that represents the combat between Ippo and Eiji Date. This is Ippo's 14th fight and marks a before and after in his entire career. Both have a very intense fight for the title, but at the same time it is a most epic reunion some time after the sparring they did together at the Kamogawa Boxing Gym.

Literally Kami-Arts brings us a piece of the ring in which we see how these two fighters fight. The high quality of the ring details as well as the dynamism that the scene transmits make this an essential figure for Hajime no Ippo fans.

As we have told you at the beginning of the post, the company presents this figure to us in two different versions. The normal circulation version (which can be found in stores) that costs € 699, and the exclusive version of its online store that costs € 799. In the latter, the company includes an interchangeable body per fighter so that we can represent them in different stages of combat. In the normal edition we only get normal bodies.

This statue is limited to 450 units worldwide, each one of them is hand painted and each one comes numbered and with its certificate of authenticity.
