UNITROBORN Chocolate Shin-chan (Bandai)

Bandai Toys, Inc. of Japan has announced that its original transforming and combining robot toy series "UNITROBORN" will release a new product in collaboration with the popular Japanese anime "Crayon Shin-chan," titled "Chocolate Shin-chan," on April 25, 2026.

UNITROBORN is an original toy series that inherits the lineage of the early toy "Machine Robo". The story is set in the universe where mechanical lifeforms called "UTA-ZO" come to Earth to protect the peace of the earth. They can use their singing to make any objects of the same color around them instantly combine into a robot. Lobster and apple, shark and vending machine, hamburger and bulldozer... all kinds of whimsical combinations can combine into powerful robots to defeat mysterious enemies that are causing trouble everywhere.

This collaboration with Crayon Shin-chan, "Chocolate Shin-chan," includes Shin-chan himself and his favorite snack, Chocobo cookies . The figures recreate Shin-chan's distinctive facial features and clothing, as well as the packaging design of the Chocobo cookies. By aligning Shin-chan's rear end with a special contact point on the cookie, a hidden, intricate transformation mechanism is activated, instantly transforming him into a "Kondam Robot"!
