Fossil Pokemon Series Aerodactyl (Bandai)
STATUE INFORMATION
The Pokémon PLAMO series of model kits produced by BANDAI SPIRITS' HOBBY division will release its latest product, "Fossil Pokémon Series Aerodactyl," on February 14, 2026. The official website has also released new information, including the product box art and images of the actual product, just before the release.
Aerodactyl is a fossil Pokémon that appeared in the first generation of the Pokémon games, Pokémon Red, Green, Blue, and Pikachu. It was resurrected using genes extracted from amber. Its design was inspired by Dimorphodon, a ferocious Pokémon that lived in the ancient Pokémon world. It could soar freely through the sky with its huge wings and would use sharp, serrated fangs to attack the throat of its opponents. It is said to be able to tear even the tough skin of Steel-type Pokémon to shreds.
The "Fossil Pokémon Series Aerodactyl" kit continues the design experience of "dinosaur assembly models," recreating the massive skull, wings, spine, and other skeletal features of the Aerodactyl through meticulously crafted parts. These parts can be assembled to form a fossil skeleton reminiscent of a museum display. The kit also includes complete outer skin parts, allowing for easy disassembly and reassembly to recreate its resurrected pose. The jaw, neck, tail, wings, and legs all have movable joints, and when used with the display stand, it can be recreated in a soaring posture.
