Bandai Candy, the popular candy toy series from Bandai's Candy Toy Division, has announced a new product from "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam": "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE CORE Brainwave Conduction Type Gundam," scheduled for release in September 2026.
Standing at an astonishing 40 meters tall, the MRX-009 Brainwave Conductor Gundam is a mobile suit developed by the Earth Federation Forces' New Human Research Institute, "Murasame," specifically for enhanced humans. It can transform from a hovering mobile fortress form into a melee-focused mobile suit form. Equipped with a large brainwave conduction system, it carries numerous MEGA particle cannons and I-field generators controlled by brainwaves, possessing the devastating destructive power to destroy entire cities single-handedly. However, the girl who pilots this machine, Horikoshi Murasame, is an "enhanced human" created through inhumane methods such as drug modification and mind control, preventing her from escaping her tragic and short life.
The "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE CORE Brainwave Transmission Type Gundam" is a modified version of the EX17 bullet released in 2017. It maintains the large size and high-density details of the bullet, which is about 9 cm tall. The outer armor is replaced with a black with a slight blue tone and a low-saturation gray like the image in the show. The hands, propulsion nozzles and exposed skeleton parts are also changed to a bright gunmetal paint with a more metallic texture.
In addition, 10 additional markings have been added to the entire body, enriching the details. Accessories include a shield, a set of MA transformation parts, and a dedicated stand for MS/MA modes, allowing users to recreate a more substantial MA mode by replacing certain parts!
