Junji Ito - Tomie (Animegami Studios)

Animegami Studios has finally opened reservations for Tomie , the first resin statue inspired by the homonymous story written by the master of horror JP Junji Ito.

For some time the company had purchased the license based on the recent animated adaptation Junji Ito Collection (you can find it streaming on Crunchyroll ) and the statue that today is one of the first representations for this market of the terrifying characters created by the author. The story of Tomie tells of a woman as beautiful as evil, involved in a spiral of madness and death to all men who will lay eyes on her. The company reproduces just this, with a base covered with offal by Tomie herself , dismembered by her suitor but now returned to new life and accompanied by a second evil and distorted face. The statue will be offered in various editions:
