Qui-Gon Jinn - Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (Hot Toys)

World-renowned Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys has unveiled a new product themed around the movie *Star Wars: Episode I – The Insidious Threat* – a 1/6 scale collectible Qui-Gon Jinn action figure. Two versions are available: a standard version and a limited-edition Artisan Edition, with suggested retail prices of HK$1,730 and HK$2,580 respectively. The standard version is available for pre-order through the official website and select retailers, while the Artisan Edition, limited to 500 sets, will be available for pre-order at the "Star Wars: Little Gugu's Adventures in the Big Galaxy" event held at the 2nd floor atrium of AIRSIDE in Kai Tak, Hong Kong, and is expected to be released in the second or third quarter of 2027.

This 1/6 scale collectible Qui-Gon Jinn action figure stands approximately 32cm tall. The exquisite sculpting captures the facial details of actor Liam Neeson, meticulously recreating wrinkles, beard, and skin texture. It also features movable eyes for fine-tuning the expression! The biggest difference between the Artisan Edition and the standard version is the hair. Utilizing advanced hair transplant technology and high-grade wool, it recreates Qui-Gon's long hair, significantly enhancing the overall realism!

The clothing is made of composite fabric, faithfully recreating the beige gi and lining. The outer Jedi Master robe is also meticulously recreated, with hidden wires on the sides for dynamic posing. The green lightsaber weapon features both LED lighting and two hilts that can be worn, along with two styles of lightsaber effects: static and dynamic blurred, allowing for various usage scenarios. Accessories include a Hush-98 communicator, a grappling hook launcher, and a holographic projection device with Yoda, Yundu, and Naboo Royal Starship projection effects, allowing for flexible posing with 30 points of articulation to recreate poses from the movie.
