MOVIE MONSTER Jumping Godzilla (1971) Hedora Repelled ver (Bandai)

Bandai Toys, the popular tokusatsu and monster-themed soft vinyl toy series "MOVIE MONSTER" has announced a new product from the Godzilla movie series "Godzilla vs. Hedora" called "MOVIE MONSTER Jumping Godzilla (1971) Hedora Repelled ver." , scheduled for release on April 11, 2026. This product will be sold exclusively at the official Godzilla store, GODZILLA STORE.

Godzilla vs. Hedora is the 11th film in the Godzilla series, released in 1971. The story uses the issue of "pollution" that was a focus at the time, depicting the battle between humans, Godzilla, and the polluting monster "Hedora" . Because this film was made against many unfavorable backgrounds, such as the death of special effects director Eiji Tsuburaya, the departure of most of Toho's key personnel, and a low production budget, it has a unique and unconventional feel. Director Yoshimitsu Sakano also incorporated social phenomena and issues such as "psychedelic culture" and "teenager identity", and even added a new hand-drawn animation style to the film, a Godzilla flying scene that would have puzzled even Newton.

"MOVIE MONSTER Godzilla (1971) Black Dora Defeat ver." is made to a height of approximately 15.5 cm. It recreates the pose of Godzilla after defeating Black Dora in the movie, in which he takes out two cores from his body. It reproduces the large head shape and near-human head-to-body ratio of the costume in the movie, and uses color painting to express the pearl-like color of the two cores in his hands.
