Fossil Pokemon Series Tyranitar (Bandai)
FIGURE INFORMATION
The Pokémon PLAMO series, produced by the Hobby division of BANDAI SPIRITS, will release its latest product , "Fossil Pokémon Series Tyranitar," on February 14, 2026. The official website has also released new information, including box art and images of the actual product, ahead of the release.
Tyranitar is a fossil Pokémon that first appeared in the sixth generation of the main series, Pokémon X and Y. It evolves from a baby Tyrannosaurus Rex, which is revived using a jaw fossil. Its design is inspired by real-world Tyrannosaurus Rex or Allosaurus. It is a Pokémon that lived about 100 million years ago in the Pokémon world and was invincible. Its jaws have amazing bite force, which can easily crush modern metal plates and cars.
The "Fossil Pokémon Series Tyranitar" kit continues the design experience of "dinosaur assembly models," recreating the skull, limbs, spine, and other skeletal structures of Tyranitar through meticulously crafted parts. These parts can be assembled to form a fossil skeleton reminiscent of one displayed in a museum. The kit also includes complete outer skin parts, allowing for easy disassembly and reassembly to recreate the resurrected pose. Furthermore, the jaw, neck, tail, and limbs all possess a degree of articulation.
